Mr. D over at I Want To Teacher Forever has been running a cool project called 52 Teachers, 52 Lessons for several months now. This week’s lesson comes from yours truly, and I appreciate Mr. D’s kind words about what OneSeventeen Media is up to! His blog has great information for educators and parents; it’s worth checking out.

Congratulations for being selected to have your “Lesson” chosen Amy! Here’s what I posted over on the “I Want To Teach Forever” on your wisdom:
I love this concept of 52 Teachers, 52 Lessons! And a hearty “well said” on your contribution Amy! In full disclosure Amy and I work together at OneSeventeen Media, however, I would compliment her regardless of our work relationship as she embodies the quintessential dedication and commitment to education that any of us would want our children to experience daily with a teacher.
Amy is forward thinking, creative and passionate. She “gets it” in the new and improved way America’s education system needs retool itself to train future generations of youth to realize their full potential not only academically but equally as important–people of character.
